Aleksandrs is renowned throughout the Baltic region for his precision, integrity, and deep technical expertise in electrical compliance. His distinguished career includes pivotal roles at LNMC (Latvian National Metrology Center) and TÜV Nord Baltics, where he developed comprehensive knowledge of EU directives, CE marking requirements, and international testing standards. His hands-on experience with thousands of product certifications has made him a trusted authority in EMC and safety testing.

Our story
LETL was founded by Aleksandrs Matvejevs after recognising a critical gap in the Baltic compliance market. Throughout his 30+ year career at major testing institutions, he witnessed countless manufacturers struggle with EU requirements, often facing costly delays and repeated test failures due to inadequate preparation and guidance.
Drawing on his extensive experience at LNMC and TÜV Nord Baltics, Aleksandrs established LETL to provide the expertise and support that manufacturers truly need: prevention-focused consulting that addresses compliance challenges before they become costly problems.
Today, LETL combines Aleksandrs' unparalleled technical knowledge with a growing team of compliance specialists. We're building on this foundation by developing Latvia's first independent electrical testing laboratory, ensuring our clients receive end-to-end compliance solutions backed by decades of proven expertise.
