2. What we collect

When you use the contact form on this website we collect the information you submit: full name, email address, company, telephone number (optional), subject line, and the content of your message. We also receive standard server log data such as IP address, user agent, and request timestamps from our hosting provider.

3. Why we process it

We process the information above to:

• Reply to your enquiry and provide the consulting or testing services you ask about (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR — pre-contractual measures);

• Keep records of business correspondence for accounting and audit purposes (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR — legal obligation);

• Protect the website against abuse and spam (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest).

4. Cookies and analytics

When you first visit letl.eu, a cookie banner asks for your consent to enable analytics. We respect your choice and store it locally in your browser (in localStorage) so we don't ask again on every page.

Strictly necessary (always on): a small preference value remembering your cookie choice. No tracking, no personal data, no third parties.

Analytics (only with your consent): if you click "Accept all", we load Google Analytics 4 (G-Q2JGL93S1M) provided by Google Ireland Ltd. GA4 sets cookies (typically _ga, _ga_*) to measure aggregate traffic such as page views, referrers, country, device type, and approximate session duration. We enable IP anonymisation and do not use Google Signals, advertising features, or cross-site tracking. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser storage for letl.eu — the banner will then reappear.

If you decline, no analytics scripts are loaded and no analytics cookies are set.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers necessary to operate this website (hosting, email delivery, contact-form intake) under written data processing agreements, and only to the extent strictly required.

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months after our last correspondence, unless a longer period is required by law (for example, accounting records under Latvian law).

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@letl.eu. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija).

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page indicates the version currently in force.
